Using Hot Wheels as the medium, the collaboration explored the concept of future archaeology, transforming iconic cars into imagined thousand-year-old artifacts. The collection included replicas of Arsham’s own vehicles and sculptures, as well as reimagined Hot Wheels Originals. For the first time, Mattel also introduced an artist’s interpretation of the classic 1968 Rally Case. While most items sold out, Mattel has set aside a limited number, offering collectors a rare chance to own this groundbreaking series.
