Volvo 850 Turbo Estate

The Swedish car manufacturer Volvo has a fine reputation for producing safe and extremely reliable automobiles. Along with their prestigious sedans, Volvo"s station wagon models enjoy equal popularity. Included in the lineup is their front drive 850 model that is also tagged as an excellent performer, and has a sporty silhouette with a spacious interior. Volvo"s typical square body has slightly rounded edges, giving the car its aerodynamic and aesthetically pleasing looks. On both sides of the rear door are 74cm tail taillights, which are easily recognizable on crowded thoroughfares. The top of the line 850 Turbo Estate is powered by a 2318cc, in-line 5-cylinder DOHC turbocharged engine of 225 horsepower. Front Macpherson strut and rear Delta Link suspension systems provide a comfortable ride during long touring treks. Safety has always been Volvo"s hallmark, and the 850 is no exception. Volvo"s state of the art "SIPS (Side Impact Protection System) efficiently absorbs lateral impact through the entire body/chassis structure. In addition to the driver"s airbag, side airbags for the driver and front passenger, called SIPS bag, are standard. Four wheel drive disk brakes use and anti-lock braking system, providing safe and effective stopping power.
