Of the 14 F1 Grand Prix races held in 1975, Ferrari drivers Niki Lauda and Clay Regazzoni won 6 between them, claiming the Constructors Championship by a large margin. The car which helped them win these victories was the 312T, an updated version of the 312B, with the T standing for "transverse," as the gearbox was mounted in this way. Featuring a Flat-12 Boxer engine capable of just over 500bhp, the 312T was designed to locate as much weight as possible within the wheelbase of the car. Although similar in appearance to the preceding year"s 312B3, the T"s shape was much improved, with narrower nose section and front aerofoil mounted in such a way as to minimize turbulence. Painted in Enzo Ferrari"s trademark racing red coloring, the 312T ended 1975 with a win at the American Grand Prix, confirming Ferraris domination of the season. Superbly detailed flat 12 boxer engine. Movable front & rear suspension. Realistic synthetic rubber tires. Detachable cowling. Markings for No.11 Clay Regazzoni (Italian GP) and No.12 Niki Lauda (Monaco GP) included. Reproduces Ferrari 312T on a big, 1/12 Scale, using approximately 420 pieces. Includes photo-etched parts for radiator, brake discs, pedals, vertical panels for front/rear wings, and seat belts for the ultimate detailed finish.
